PARKING & DIRECTIONS
From I-5, take the 196th Street exit and go west. Turn right on 36th Ave W (the intersection with Lamps Plus on one corner and the Lynnwood Convention Center on the other), and we are about a quarter mile north on the right in the Alderwood Business Campus.

Building 2 is on the left (North) side of the parking lot. You may take the elevator or stairs to the second floor. EPP is the first office on the right. Restrooms are available in the hallway.

Dr Dan Thomsen combines the best of evidence-based cognitive therapy and a sensitive, emotional approach to his work. Dan helps his coaching and therapy clients integrate their thoughts and feelings so that they can live a more self-aware and intentional life.

He practices Gottman Method Therapy for working with couples in therapy, coaching, and educational settings. He employs Rational Emotive Therapy to help clients examine erroneous beliefs and build ways to combine clear thinking with purposeful action. “Dr Dan” helps children sort out difficult life experiences as well as to build social skills for school and play. He works with families of all ages, shapes, and sizes to heal hurts and connect more fully through therapy and coaching.

I have trained and supervised Dan and experienced him becoming a competent clinician and trainer and then, in turn, becoming a consultant and coach to me over the last 25 years. It is his coaching that has helped me the most personally by assisting me to look at my goals and my normal life dilemmas, evaluate the resources I bring, and look at my limitations, strengths, and weaknesses, and then create an action Plan.

Should you be fortunate enough to become one of Dan’s clients, and if you are willing to pursue your goals of emotional and relational health, you will find yourself led, supported and cared about into a deeper, richer future.”
